Plain-language summary: When you submit an enquiry or quote request, Tassel & Claws uses the information to deal with that request. We do not treat a service enquiry as automatic consent to unrelated marketing.
Information we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we may collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number, service requirements, uploaded files and other information you choose to provide.
Depending on the service, your request may also contain quantities, project location, event details, vehicle information, route information, site photographs, tender documents, bills of quantities, requisitions, deadlines or similar operational information.
Why we use it
We use submitted information to understand your request, prepare estimates or quotations, communicate with you, manage delivery, maintain project records, prevent abuse and improve our service process.
We may also use project records to reconcile work completed, amounts invoiced and paid, supplier or subcontractor requirements, and the stage of an active request.
Uploaded documents
Files submitted through the quote builder are stored in a non-public server location. Please do not upload passwords, banking credentials or information unrelated to the request.
Where you upload a BOQ, requisition, site image or supporting document, a copy may be included in the confirmation email sent to you and in the internal notification sent to Tassel & Claws so both sides can identify exactly what was submitted.
Cookies and sessions
The site uses an essential server session to support form security, including anti-forgery protection. We do not currently use advertising cookies or a customer account system.
Service providers
We may use hosting, email, communications or specialist delivery providers where necessary to operate the website or deliver a requested service. We share only the information reasonably needed for that purpose.
Where a specialist supplier or subcontractor is required to price or execute part of a project, we aim to share the scope needed for the job rather than unrelated personal information.
Retention
Business enquiries and project records may be retained for operational, accounting, dispute-resolution and legitimate business-record purposes. We periodically review information that no longer needs to be retained.
Different records may need different retention periods depending on whether they relate to an unconverted enquiry, active project, quotation, supplier transaction, payment, dispute or completed engagement.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct contact information or enquire about information you submitted. Some project or transaction records may need to be retained where there is a legitimate business or legal reason.
You may also ask us not to use an enquiry for unrelated follow-up marketing. This does not stop communications that are necessary to handle an active request or existing commercial relationship.
Security
We use access controls, server protections, form-security measures and private storage for submitted files. No internet system can guarantee absolute security, so avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
If you believe you sent the wrong file or sensitive information by mistake, contact us promptly and quote the relevant request reference where available.
